I found this was a very great experience as I now know what I will do when I go to university.

I have really enjoyed my time here and has made me realise what goes into chemistry at a higher level.

It has been a great experience for the students in these fantastic labs. We just don’t have the equipment to do this in our school. It would be great to have even more of these days, seeing as we are just up the road too.

All of our students gained from the laboratory visit. Whether they were successful in producing a product or not, the experiences and skills they acquired were valuable. Also, talking to Simon and the undergraduate, postgraduate and post-doctoral student demonstrators was a formative and useful experience for our young people, especially as they begin the UCAS process.
